Product Description

Fluroelastomer FD-401NC
 

FD-401NC is a fluoroelastomer precompound which include copolymer of hexa-fluoropropylene and vinylidene-fluoride, curatives. Calcium hydroxide is not required. So the problem caused by Calcium hydroxide such as dispersion and hygroscopy can be eliminated.

It is designed for the bonding seal such as crank shaft seals and valve stem seals.

Recommended Processing Procedures
FD-401NC can be compounded with internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and other ingredients that are used in typical fluoroelastomer formulations. All the dryingredientsshould be blended before adding to the rubbery solid. During compounding, full cooling should be accompanied. After mixing, the compound should be cooled as quickly as possible.
